movements against inertia

How do insurrections and autonomous forces interact?

How to remain autonomous?

Inertia is characteristic of the current order. It is the state and statist, party or trade union politics - operating through apparatuses of power and control. But then there is also the inertia of liberal reformism, of grassroots activism, of 'radical' trade unions or social 'movements'; of politics pacifying rebellion, usurping and disarming resistance and redirecting anger into forms of 'struggle' that are safe for power. The inertia is all that impedes those who make a move on their enemies.

There are, however, stirrings that break away from it, become ungovernable and dance on the ruins of control. There are those who make their move against this inertia and will not allow themselves to be lined up in a peaceful demonstration. There is a movement that crosses all established boundaries.

It's the latest cycle of struggles: the George Floyd rebellion, the Hong Kong uprising, the Chilean uprising, or the Yellow Vests - this global wave of uprisings that doesn't seem to stop - as well as what came before, and similarly set bodies in motion and unleashed their new potentialities. Anything that breaks our pre-conceived notions about the dynamics of movements because it spreads anti-politically, like a meme or a virus. Anything that impresses you and makes your heart beat faster.

They are the black blocs, the queer gangs, the frontliners, the urban nihilist guerrillas or the ZADists. Individuals, groups and formations that stand out due to their determination, their clear and strategic outlook and who intervene in the ongoing battles - or initiate them. All of those who are party to this global war who are gathering momentum and are eager help you get up to speed too.

How to find each other?

How do we establish global complicity with others and their struggles?
